Terms of Service

By accessing or using PlayersEngine (“the Platform”, “Service”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PlayersEngine.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice.

PlayersEngine is a social gaming platform that allows users to create profiles, connect gaming accounts, share gaming achievements, interact with other gamers, and participate in community features including posts, comments, and quests.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

To use the Platform, you must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@playersengine.com of any unauthorised use of your account.

You may not create accounts using automated means, create accounts for other individuals without their consent, or maintain multiple accounts for the purpose of violating these Terms.

You retain ownership of content you submit, post, or display on the Platform (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant PlayersEngine a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and display such content in connection with operating the Service.

You represent and warrant that your User Content does not:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Contain defamatory, obscene, or offensive material
• Contain malware, spam, or other harmful content
• Impersonate any person or entity

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the Platform or its users.

The Platform allows you to connect third-party gaming accounts (such as Steam, Battle.net, Xbox, Epic Games, and Discord). By connecting these accounts, you authorise us to access certain information from those services in accordance with their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of connected accounts complies with the terms of the respective third-party platforms. We are not responsible for any actions taken by third-party services.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Engage in hate speech, discrimination, or targeted harassment
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Platform without our written permission
• Use the Platform to transmit spam or unsolicited communications
• Manipulate or artificially inflate engagement metrics
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Platform

The Platform and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by PlayersEngine and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of PlayersEngine.

PlayersEngine may award experience points (XP), levels, badges, and other virtual rewards as part of its gamification features. These virtual items have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real currency, transferred between accounts, or redeemed for any goods or services outside the Platform.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any virtual reward system at any time without liability to you.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PLAYERSENGINE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at legal@playersengine.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@playersengine.com. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to termination.
